Hi! My name is Jennifer McGroary. I live in Woodstock, CT where I have lived for the past 27 years. I am a work at home mother of three beautiful boys, Sean – 12 yrs., Justin – 7 1/2 yrs, and Eric – 6 1/2 yrs.

I originally created Quiet Corner Family Info Center as a resource for new families moving to the Northeastern, CT area but the site is useful to all families, grandparents, daycare providers, etc. who live here. Quiet Corner Family Info Center’s sole focus is to provide pertinent information for Connecticut families.

QuietCornerFamily.com is a comprehensive, free resource that offers parents, parents-to-be and caregivers an abundance of useful and essential information. The site provides listings of playgroups, licensed daycare providers, mom’s support groups, places to go and things to do with your kids and much more.

The site is a user-friendly, unique, online community created specifically for families from Eastford, Killingly, Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson, & Woodstock.

My goal is for QuietCornerFamily.com to become more than a local information resource but a living virtual community for families throughout Connecticut’s Quiet Corner.
